These sentences consists of two phrases or clauses (a group of words)
Independent clause-can stand on its own
Dependent clause with a subordinating conjunction-cannot stand on its own
Ex: After we go to music class, it will be lunch time.
Subordinating conjunction-after
Independent clause-It will be lunch time
Dependent clause-After we go to music class
