Seed-Bearing Plants
1) Pollination is the movement of pollen to the pistil landing on the stigma. Pollination happens because of wind, water, insects, bats, and birds.
2) Fertilization is the combining of DNA from both parents. It is the first step in the new plants life.
Steps of Reproduction
1) Pollen sticks to the stigma (pollination)
2) Pollen tube grows down to the ovary
3) Sperm cells move down the tube
4) The egg and the sperm join together (fertilization)
