Chemical properties-the change of one type of matter into another type of matter.
Ex: hydrogen gas and oxygen gas name water which is a liquid (the two react together to form a new compound)
Physical properties-a change in its state not in its chemical composition. Physical properties can be observed such as: density, color, hardness, melting and boiling points, freezing points and electrical conductivity.
