Article of the Day-

Who Are Citizens of the United States?

Complete your Book of Knowledge. Make sure you write three 7-Up sentences about the article in your own words. Do not copy and paste. Read the article and think about what you learned from the article rather than writing word for word what the article says.

Math-p. 185 #4-7

Steps:

1. Find the LCD

2. Express the fractions as equivalent fractions with the LCD as the denominator

3. Rename the first mixed number (the minuend)  if the fraction is less than the second fraction (the        subtrahend).

4. Subtract. Write the difference (answer) in simplest form. 

Examples are on page 184.

Religion-rewrite the beatitudes # 5 and 6.

# 5 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

(Do not use merciful or mercy in your new version)

#6 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

(Do not use pure in heart or see God in your new version)

Reading- Read Ch. 25 in “Tuck Everlasting”
