Read your Article of the Day-

What's the Big Idea about Marine Biology? The Oceans and Us

Complete your Book of Knowledge. Make sure you write three 7-Up sentences about the article in your own words. Do not copy and paste. Read the article and think about what you learned from the article rather than writing word for word what the article says.

Math

Work in IXL today. Finish all of K.7, and K.8. Begin K.10. You must work to at least 90 points, but 100 is BEST! Try to work for at least 30-40 minutes in Math IXL. You can always google videos if you are struggling with a topic or I can make one :).

Science

In your writing journal write the definitions of a food chain and a food web. Create a food web in your journal using animals in one of your assigned biomes. Identify two food chains within that food web.

Religion

Read p. 227-229 Highlight important words or phrases. Write a paragraph about Solanus Casey on notebook paper. Then identify the steps to becoming a saint. Save for test review! Complete activity on p. 229.

Reading

First in your reading journal write two or three sentences about what you think this story is going to be about.
Next read the Prologue in your book “Tuck Everlasting” p. 3-4. Draw a picture in your reading journal of Treegap Woods as the center of the wheel. Then draw the three events that make the spokes of the wheel. Be neat include characters and setting as much as possible. You can label pictures of you would like.
Reread “The Patchwork Quilt” in EasyCBM and answer the questions following the story. Take your time and read carefully.

Vocabulary

Complete p. 129 identify the verb in sentences 1-17 by underlining the verb.
